The problem

Buying used vehicles can be complicated and risky process, especially for inexperienced people. There could be hidden mechanical issues, past accidents and a lacking service history.

Solution

RevAR is an application for the Vision Pro, that aids the buyer during the car buying process and minimizes the potential risks. This application could also work as a mobile app, but I decided to give myself the challenge to design it for the Vision Pro headset.

For inspiration I researched different AR/VR applications. There aren't any AR applications for vehicle transactions as far as I found. I also studied different Vision Pro applications to see how the interaction works, since I do not have the headset myself.

After researching a couple of VR/XR app flows. I created a user flow map, to help me think how the app would work. I used the official Apple visionOS design kit for the design process.

Conclusion

The aim of this project was to challenge myself and see if I could design a AR/VR application.

Overall I am pretty satisfied, unfortunately I do not have headset so I cannot test the interactivity fully. Next step would be to test it out with a headset, this would give me a much better idea how good the flows and interactivity really is.
